Healthy aging

Brain aging involves changes in sleep, vascular function, immune signaling and cellular maintenance. Aging is not synonymous with dementia.

Why it matters

Research into neurological health can help explain disease burden, human physiology and opportunities for future scientific work. The underlying mechanisms are complex and many questions remain unresolved.
